Het programma
Would you like to know how job interviews in Germany are structured, what questions are typically asked, and how to best prepare? Do you want to make a confident impression and present your strengths convincingly? Are you wondering how to determine a realistic salary expectation and handle salary negotiations successfully?
Then this workshop is just right for you! The trainer Julia Barden (www.juliabarden.com) is a psychologist with professional experience in the HR departments of companies such as Deutsche Bahn and Commerzbank. She supports international students and professionals in entering the German job market and is the author of the book “Erfolgreich bewerben” (“Successful Job Applications”).
This workshop covers the following topics:
- Structure of online and on-site job interviews
- Common interview questions and answer strategies
- How to handle difficult or critical questions
- Determining your salary expectations and strategies for salary negotiations
True to the workshop’s interactive design, theory is always followed by practice: You will learn how to answer the most common interview questions and prepare your responses in bullet points. After that, you’ll discover how to determine a realistic salary expectation and negotiate with confidence. There will also be plenty of time for individual questions. All participants will additionally receive free access to Julia’s Udemy video course “Get Your Dream Job in Germany” so you can review and deepen the workshop content at your own pace afterward.
The workshop is both open for international and German students!
This event takes place in English. You will receive the link to the online event a few days before.
